L-Carnitine IM Treatment
L-Carnitine is injected into the muscle usually into the arm (deltoid muscle), upper thighs (ventrogluteal muscle), or upper buttocks (gluteal muscle). IM injections are fast and usually take up to 5 minutes to administer and are less invasive compared to IV injections. L-Carnitine is slowly absorbed from the muscles creating sustained effect.
How frequently do I need L-Carnitine treatment
We recommend an initial replenishing treatment followed by a maintenance treatment:
- Once a week: For first 4-6 weeks.
- Once a month: To maintain optimal levels.

While IM injections are generally safe and less invasive compared to IV injections, some individuals may experience:
-
- Mild nausea, headache, or digestive discomfort
